There are a few proud farmers’ daughters at Alice PR & Events, so we were very excited to be approached by the Irish Dairy Farmer – a publication of the Irish Farmers’ Journal – earlier this year to contribute an article about social media use by farmers.
Many younger farmers use social media to share knowledge and promote their work. But there have been some high-profile incidents of trolling of farmers in recent years.
As such, our brief was to write about how farmers can use social media proactively and steer clear of the online trolls.
