It’s an emotional week for #TeamAlice, as we’re bidding farewell to two fantastic colleagues, Elaine Parsons and Eimear Phelan.

Elaine has been with us since the very early days of Alice PR.  She was one of the first to work alongside our founder, Martina, initally providing support as a consultant before taking on a permanent role as Account Manager as the company grew.

A fan of remote working long before the rest of the country had to adopt it (!), Elaine kept us nicely jealous each week by sharing pics of her lovely home-office set-up overlooking Brittas Bay.  Once a week, she made the commute to join us in our Dublin city-centre office, where she exhibited strong “feeder” tendencies, keeping us well supplied with chocolate, doughnuts, biscuits and all sorts of treats.

A true sustainability champion, Elaine encouraged us all to think of ways to make Alice greener and more environmentally-friendly.  And she shows her own commitment to this cause on a day-to-day basis by undertaking beach clean-ups in her local community, and carrying out ambitious work in her lovely garden.

After more than four years at Alice, Elaine has decided to seek out new adventures.  She has been a fantastic colleague, an excellent supplier of snacks, and a great friend to all our team.  We will miss her hugely!

And, also this week, we’re bidding farewell to Eimear Phelan.  Eimear joined us for an internship at the start of this year – undertaking a three-month work experience placement as part of her PR studies with Fitzwilliam Institute.  She immediately fitted into our team, and we loved seeing her enthusiasm and passion for learning more about PR.  Her plan – once current travel restrictions are lifted – is to move to London, and we wish her every success in the next stage of her career.

Thanks so much, Elaine and Eimear, for everything!
