No two weeks are ever the same for us here at Alice PR! From planning Dress for Success Dublin’s Disco Brunch taking place this Sunday, to meeting potential clients and planning for future events, it was a busy work week for us all here, as well as socially! Find out #WhatTickled Alice below and let us know what tickled you!

On the Screen:

After spending the first half of last week glued to our TV screens for regular updates on the US  Election, and the latter half avoiding TV, this week we’re coming to terms with the result and have been enjoying the Joe Biden and Barack Obama memes, below are two of our favourite picks:

Emily went along to see ‘The Light Between Oceans’ last Sunday, and was a bit disappointed, despite her love for Michael Fassbender. It was a bit too dramatic and unrealistic, but that still didn’t stop her shedding a tear – she’s a wuss!

On the Pitch

The Alice team went rugby mad last weekend! Elaine and Emily were both at the Ireland V Canada match last Saturday in The Aviva and were delighted with Ireland’s strong result, winning 52-21. . Hopefully Ireland will do the business again with the Ireland V New Zealand game tomorrow!

Ciara was also at a rugby match last weekend – she went along to see the Irish women’s team play England in UCD last Sunday.  Unfortunately they lost by two points but Paula Fitzpatrick, Ciara’s brilliant and talented friend, captained the team for the first time! screenshot_2016-11-17-13-01-08-1

On the Page:

Martina has started yet another book, picking up ‘From Dún Síon to Croke Park’ by Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh. Micheál shares childhood memories of growing up in Kerry and his experiences as a teacher, as well as his long career as a GAA commentator.

On the Plate:

Modjina shared with us her homemade lentil soup recipe using these simple ingredients: lentils, potatos, bell peppers, garlic, onions, spinach and celery. It’s a light meal and perfect for those on a budget! Niamh and Emily treated themselves to tasty sushi last Friday from Eatokyo – they highly recommend it!

Out and About:

Elaine went along to see Michael Nyman play in the Olympia last night and she was VERY EXCITED! Martina, Niamh, Emily and Moji are all looking forward to Dress for Success Dublin’s Disco Brunch in Medley on Sunday – disco and brunch, what’s not to love!

elaines-graduationBig congratulations to Elaine whose graduation was today – she received her Higher Diploma in Digital Media Design (go Elaine!).

Emily and Niamh took part in ‘Run in the Dark’ in aid of the Mark Pollock Foundation, and successfully completed the 10km run under the hour mark! #athletes

Martina had a family-filled weekend last week, visiting the Guinness Open Brewery to celebrate her father’ birthday, followed by a fab meal at Richmond restaurant.
