A very short and sweet #WhatTickledAlice this week, as it’s focused around the main woman herself, Martina Quinn! She’s finishing up in the office today for a few weeks, as she’s got a wedding to go to… her own!

This week, we threw a little impromptu Alice office hen party to celebrate, complete with all her favourite things – Buck’s Fizz, Rolo sweets (how retro), Haribo sweets, Alice in Wonderland themed bunting, with a little bit of tack thrown in there for good measure. 😉

There she is only delighted with herself!

From all of us here at #TeamAlice, we wish our wonderful MD Martina the very best day ever next Friday – no one deserves happiness more than her! (Awww!) We’re all looking forward donning our gladrags and we’ll try not to make shows of ourselves in front of her family (old and new)!

Out and about

As you know, we’re big Together for Yes supporters here, so on Wednesday, a few of us went along to the Olympia for the Together for Yes fundraising gig. It was a great night of music, spoken word, impassioned speeches, and all round good vibes! Highlights from the night include Little Green Cars, James Vincent McMorrow, and the always fun, Sing Along Social.

On the Plate

Before the gig, we took ourselves off to Skinflint on Dame Street for some tasty pizzas – a great spot to go to for a tasty, quick, reasonable, and filling bite to eat before heading to a gig or a night on the town. And the service is really good, too – after mistakenly bringing us a wrong pizza, they gave us an extra one for free!

Aside from that, we’ve all been laying pretty low. Emily was in Eatyard last week for the first time in a few months, and went to the Blue Hare stall – they serve tasty egg-based dishes – she’s a big subscriber to the gospel of eggs so couldn’t resist.  She opted for the fried eggs and chilli-bacon jam on sourdough, and it didn’t disappoint!

That’s it from #TeamAlice this week – hope you get out over the long weekend and enjoy the sun we’ve all been promised! Over and out!

Eggy goodness
