It was a busy week for us here at Alice HQ, we were all pretty exhausted after working at Career Zoo last Saturday, but we still found time to have a life outside the office! 🙂 Have a look at what’s been tickling this week, and let us know what’s been tickling you in the comments below!
On the screen:
Martina has been binge-watching ‘The Night Of’, an HBO miniseries about a New York murder case, and it’s also been getting great reviews online. One to add to the never-ending list of TV shows to watch!
Inspired by Elaine’s rave review last week, Emily finally made it to see Bridget Jones’s Baby, and loved it! It made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
On the page:
Martina is reading Colm Toibín’s Nora Webster, while Emily is struggling to get into Milan Kundera’s ‘The Unbearable Lightness of Being’, but is determined to stick with it after being told it’s worth it!
Emily grabbed a quick pre-cinema bite at the ever reliable Umi, and would go as far as to say they have the best falafels in town! Martina is checking out Beef and Lobster on Parliament Street this weekend, so we’ll have to wait for her verdict next week!
On the street:
We’re LOVING the autumnal colours of the trees, and the lack of rain this week (hope we haven’t spoken too soon!). You really can’t beat the sound of leaves crunching underfoot.
Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂
P.S. Did you see Martina’s interview with Fora.ie yet? Read it here!
