We are thrilled to announce Alice PR is shortlisted for two awards in the 2019 Awards for Excellence in Public Relations.
In the new ‘Best Issues-Led Campaign’ category, we have been shortlisted for our ongoing work with the brilliant team at Dress for Success Dublin – on the #WorkEqual campaign. #WorkEqual aims to promote workplace equality and remove the obstacles that exist to women’s full and equal participation in the workforce. You can read more about it here.
Our second nomination is in the ‘Young Communications Professional of the Year’ category. We are so proud and excited that Niamh Breathnach – who was the first full-time employee here at Alice, and who we’ve know for years is a superstar – is selected as one of only three finalists in this category. You can read more about all three finalists here.
The Awards for Excellence in Public Relations are jointly run by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII), and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Northern Ireland. According to the organisers, this year saw the second-highest number of organisations submitting campaigns in the 26-year history of the Awards. In all, 65 campaigns have been shortlisted across 20 categories.
The awards ceremony is taking place at Dublin’s Mansion House on Friday, 21st June, and #TeamAlice will be there in force. We’ll be marking our fourth birthday later this summer, and this is the first time we’ve been shortlisted for these awards. So, regardless of the outcome, we will celebrate this milestone achievement in style!
