A Fond Farewell to Emily

It’s the end of an era at Alice today, as it’s the last day our colleague and friend, Emily Brennan, is working with us.

Emily joined us in 2016 and, over the past seven years, she has been a key contributor to Alice’s success. She has led our work on major projects for clients such as the Coalition to Repeal the Eighth Amendment, LGBT Ireland, SOLAS, The Housing Agency, and the Irish Whiskey Association. She has also spearheaded many of the arts and culture campaigns we’ve worked on, including promoting the annual Dublin Festival of History and the Irish Architecture Foundation’s Open House Dublin.

Emily is brilliant at PR. She knows the media and what will appeal to them. She plans and delivers excellent events. And she can always be relied on for a puntastic headline for a press release!

One of our core values at Alice is to be friendly and unflappable, and Emily embodies these qualities. Her clients have consistently commented on how calm she remains, even in the midst of the most challenging PR crisis, and how she finds solutions to the trickiest problems – with no drama and no fuss.

As well as her excellent work for clients, Emily has played a key role in business development. She has helped us to grow Alice, contributing hugely to tendering, new business pitches and client retention. And she has been a super mentor and manager to more junior members of the team, always available to offer guidance and advice in a very friendly and approachable way.

On a personal note, Emily has been a huge support to me in my role as MD. I have always been able to rely on her to give me a dig out during the busiest times; to make me laugh when I’m at my most stressed; and to offer me support when I most need it.

We are so, so happy for Emily as she sets off on a new adventure, marrying her fabulous fiancé, Aisling, in the coming weeks and taking some time out to enjoy it all.

Emily, thank you for all you have done for Alice over the past seven years. We wish you the very best for the future. You will be truly missed!
